This course is designed specifically to introduce the latest knowledge and skills for the easy placement of 30 minute advanced anterior and posterior composite restorations. By using these techniques it allows the clinician to place reliable, functional and aesthetically pleasing restorations whilst getting a good financial return. This programme is designed as a short subject specific hands on course for up to 16 clinicians.

In this course we will be looking at different posterior composite placement methods which can be used in the surgery. With the Amalgam phase out in full swing, we as dentists need to be able to find viable and cost effective alternatives.
The day will involve composite theory and a substantial hands on component covering 4 types of systems. The aim is that you will gain an understanding and confidence to tackle larger posterior composite cases in your everyday practice with a focus on patient satisfaction and dentist profitability.
Objectives:
• Recognise the classification, composition and performance factors of composites.
• Understand how the properties of dental materials can be used to optimise composite restorations.
• Gain practical experience in the techniques of freehand composite placements to achieve aesthetic restorations in the molar and pre-molar region.
• Find out how a limited selection of materials can be used for most cases.
• Demonstrate how to tackle almost every restoration option with composites and see your profitable increase.
