Treatment co-ordinator (TCO)

Here at St Piran Dental we are one of the few practices that offer a 30 minute consultation free of charge!

Our treatment co-ordinator here at St Piran Dental is Mandy. Mandy is an experienced dental nurse and also works chair side with Dr Chris McConnell. She is able to look at the treatment plan from the patients prospective and make sure it is beneficial to the specific patient’s needs. At this appointment Mandy will be able to answer any questions you have and go through different options that are available.

 

What the treatment co-ordinator will discuss with you at your appointment.
• New patient query’s, meeting the team and getting used to the environment of the practice.
• The dentist’s treatment plan, fees and estimates.
• Financial agreements.
• Educating patients about different options and making sure you have a complete understanding of your treatment.
• Patient will be followed up if treatment incomplete.

 

Where will your consultation take place?
Your consultation will take place in our TCO room that we have in the practice. This is especially beneficial for anxious patients as you will not have to sit in the dental chair or come into contact with the surgery environment at this point. This gives patients a chance to relax and ask any questions without being distracted.
